Your National
Missionaries to Ghana, West Africa, Serving God and Man
“For a great
door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.”
(I Corinthians 16:9)
Dear Ones
in Christ,
Our trip to
the USA and Canada this year can be best described by a statement
in the Psalm:
"Bless the Lord, O my soul O lord
my God, thou art very great, thou art clothed with honour and
majesty"
Ps. 104:1.
This is a heartfelt
thanks to you all for your kindness, your hospitality, various
gifts and thoughtfulness to us. May the Lord bless you a hundred
fold.
We praise the
Lord for all that He did for us through you, during our trip.
The Lord provided brethren from Pastor Kevin's Church to take
over the work of handling the support fund and the correspondence
of Grace Baptist Mission-Ghana. The Mission address in the USA
now is Grace
Baptist Mission-Ghana, 40 East main Street, Walkersville, Maryland,
21793. The
Lord also provided the funds for the shipment of a 40ft. Container.
We are excited to see how God is going to bless us in the days
ahead here in Ghana with many needs.
Thanks to all
of you who helped to load the container, especially the CMTS
staff, the teams from Thurmann Baptist, New York, Primrose Bible
church and Trinity Baptist Church, Allentown, Pa. Thanks to
all the new churches that have taken us on for monthly support
of the ministry this year, and thanks in advance to those that
are considering to take us on. May our great God of wonders
bless you all, for your thoughtfulness, concern and burden for
the ministry here in Ghana.
SEC/TECH BUILDING
Thanks to all
of you who collected the cards for the building fund and a special
thanks to those of you who have returned the cards. We are planning
to break ground for the foundation work to start on November
12th. Dr. Stanford Murrell from Apollo, Pa. will be doing the
ground breaking. We trust those of you who still have your cards
will complete it and give it to the pastors or church treasurers
to send it to the mission office in Walkersville, Maryland.
If any of you need more cards you can contact the Office. God
bless you as you help us train these children for the Lord.
I know you care.
MINOR SURGERY
Adelaide had
a minor cardiac operation at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon,
Pa. Just before we returned home, we praise the Lord for Dr.
Worrilow, Dr. Davison and Dr. Cleament for their sacrifices.
God bless you all, keep the good work up. Adelaide is doing
fine, the medication has helped a lot.
PRAYER REQUESTS
Keep
on praying for Debby, as we look for a college for her for
next fall.
Pray
for Adelaide for a complete recovery
Pray
for the Radio Ministry, for the Lord to use it to bring
many to a saving faith.
Pray
for the Bips and Bips Sec/Tech, for more students. Sec /tech
is now almost 50, we were expecting more but even if we
did there will be no classrooms, so pray for the Building
project for the Funds to come in. We have funds for nearly
8000 blocks.
Pray
for faithfulness in Church attendance here.
Pray
for general health and wisdom for the ministry.
Pray
for the new students of the Bible College. We have five
that are due to report in January 2002.
Thanks again
for your part in the work of the Lord here in Ghana.
In His Grace
For His Glory,
Noah Quarshie
(pastor)
