Dearly Beloved in
Christ
Season’s greetings
in our Redeemer and soon coming king’s Name.
A Unique opportunity
in 2004:
Dr. & Mrs. Gainer
and Bro. Walker Harris from the USA were here to help our people
in income generation projects such as baking, cold store facilities,
etc. We were in the States' this past summer to share with most
of you what the Lord is doing, and your support was very great.
You donated materials and funds to make our work a little easier,
God bless you all.
The shipment got
here in November and even though most of the donations were
exempt from custom duty the vehicle was not. We ended up selling
it to pay for the duty. But as the Word of God said “All things
work together for good to them that love God, to them who are
the called according to His purpose” Rom 8:2 We still need a
very good vehicle for the ministry, a mini-bus that can seat
between 10 to 12 people will be great but it must NOT be older
that 1995.
We praise the Lord
for the fast growing church planting ministry in northern Ghana,
a total of seven churches in 2004.
The Mission Clinic:
We need a permanent
Medical Officer for the Clinic, be in prayer with us, even a
short term Nurse will do, from two weeks to one year etc.
We need various
drugs and anything that will help us to better serve these deprived
people. We need Microscopes and blood testing equipment. We
thank the Lord for all those who gave us various medical items
during our trip to the USA this past summer.
The New Churches:
We went to Northern
Ghana on November 29th. I met with the pastors to encourage
them.
We visited both
the old and new churches, 12 people accepted the Lord as their
Savior in a town called Chamba, twenty eight miles east of Salaga
and 6 people accepted the Lord in a village called Beposo. The
Beposo church which is Emmanuel Bible Baptist Church has Bro.
Timothy as leader. The Chamba church has no leader yet, but
there are young men there who want to be trained. We urgently
need regular support for these men. At least $50 a month will
be fine. There is also a youth training center in Chamba that
a literacy organization want to turn over to us to help train
the leaders in northern Ghana. Be in prayer with us.
Motor Bikes and
Bicycles are still needed for the effective work in Northern
Ghana. We brought few with us.
Below are pictures
of some of the old and new churches.
Bips & Bips
Sec/Tech:
We now have 12 students
in the Bible school. The 2005 Annual New Year Pastoral School
will be from February 3rd to 8th. We expect the number of participants
to exceed that of 2004.
We are expecting
some brethren from the USA here towards the end of January and
the first two weeks in February to help with the pastoral school
and our next trip to northern Ghana.
Please let us know
if you want to be part of these unique opportunities.
We now have 46 students
in the high school. We are expecting more students when school
re-opens on January 10th
2005.
Be in prayer for
the new principal Sr. Harris, she is a real testimony.
The school received
it first National award under her leadership when the school
was invited to a program organized by the Ghana ministry of
Education to promote discipline in the youth. Our school was
judged one of the most disciplined schools in Ghana. To God
is the Glory.
Building Project
In Progress:
We praise the Lord
for the donations of materials and funds for this very important
project. May the Lord bless you for the unique role you are
playing in this project. Please pray and continue to give whatever
you can. Please, those of you with the coins cards, send them
in. They will help with blocks for the second floor when we
complete the concrete work. Little is much when God is in it.
The Radio ministry:
We are getting good
feed back these days from our listeners. Continue to pray for
financial support for this ministry. We also need blank cassette
tapes.
Thank you all for
your prayer and financial support. May the love of our Lord
Jesus Christ fill your heart and home at Christmas time and
the New Year.
GLORY TO GOD ON
HIGH AND ON EARTH PEACE AND GOOD
WILL TO MEN!!!

P.S. NEED FOR MISSION
SECRETARY/TREASURER.
Brethren we praise
the Lord for the help Mr. & Mrs. Holmes gave to us for the
past two years.
They have informed
us that they will be moving to Virginia in March 2005. Sr. Holmes’
health will not allow her to continue the Mission work.
We therefore need
very Urgently a Secretary/Treasurer, on a part-time basis.
Please let us know
if you can help. You can email or call the Office on 410-536-0332
for details.
