Dearly Beloved;
Greetings in the Name of our Lord and
Redeemer Jesus Christ.
Third Mission Team from USA - June 2005:
This group was led by Mrs. Alice Gainer
- they were from Indiana. We took them to the Old Slave Castle,
110 miles from Accra.
Bro. Curtis Marcus gave a testimonial
Message at the Bible Baptist Church. We also took them to the
school to see the progress of the school project and to take
part in the worship time in the school From the school we visited
Ghana Parliament House and interacted with the members of parliament.
One of the members invited us to his house the following day
for dinner. This man would be equivalent to a Congressman in
the US. What a blessing.
The School Building and the School Update:
We plan on using the ground floor of the
building since we have completed the concrete work, but that
will mean we have to put in doors and windows and do the floor
work before we can use that section of the building this fall.
This means we will need at least $11,000.
Mrs. Gainer’s group were touched when
they saw the need and donated $600 to help us buy design or
style blocks for the classroom windows. We praise the Lord for
their sacrifice.
We have fixed the design blocks. We now
need at least $15,000 for the floor terrazzo tiles, plaster
works, painting, electrical and plumbing works.
The total amount needed to complete the
building project is $50,000.
We want to encourage you to use your quarter
Mission Coin Cards and donate what ever the Lord puts on your
heart for this goal.
Be in prayer for Sis. Harris as she leads
the High school. Our goal is 100 students this fall.
Clinic Update:
A Brother from Bible Baptist Church is
now running the clinic until we can get a permanent Nurse for
this ministry. Please pray for a Nurse for this mission outreach.
We also need donations of medications
like:
Drugs; De-worming medicines,
Cough Mixtures. Pain killers like, Aspirins, Tylenols, Ibuprofens,
Multi-Vitamins, Tums etc.
Lab equipment.
Batteries and more Solar Panels
to run refrigerator for the Clinic.
The Churches and Pastors:
We now have nearly 75 new believers to
Baptize in Namu, Kpadjai and Beposo, but our 1992 Dodge Van
is giving us a lot of mechanical problems, in short a replacement
of this Vehicle is now overdue.
We have five pastors that we are training
to lead these churches. There are others to be trained but we
need $50 per month for a Village pastor. Praise the Lord for
those who are helping in this area - Jesus will repay.
We have other men in Accra undergoing
pastoral training, others are studying by correspondence.
The Radio Ministry:
This is a source of blessing to many in
the city of 4 million. We need sponsors, CDs, Computers with
CD and DVD burners, Cassette tapes, good microphones, etc, to
make this ministry more effective.
Aswers to Prayers:
We praise the Lord for the role Mr.
& Mrs. Van & Martha Holmes effectively played in the
handling of the support of the Grace Baptist missions.
We know that you were all praying. The
Lord has raised Mr. & Mrs. Joe & Shar Souder from the
Elk dale Baptist Church of West Clifford, PA. To carry on with
the Secretary/Treasurer work. Pastor Frank Bissol, pastor of
the Elk dale Baptist Church, attended Baptist Bible College
& Theological Seminary with me in the 80’s. The Lord has
blessed Joe and Shar with a handsome baby boy. Be in prayer
for them.
Please take note of the new address in

Please be in prayer with us regarding
our children. Deborah is back in the States and is getting ready
to go back to PCC. Her major is Missions/Broadcasting.
Enoch was to be in Moody Bible this fall
but we ran into some problems regarding his sponsorship and
Student Visa. Pray that it will be resolved so he can go in
January 2006.
Pray also for us as we travel. A vehicle
given to us for our travels developed transmission problem in
Indianapolis, Indiana. It will cost us $1300 to get a rebuilt
one put in. Pray that the Lord will provide this fund for the
replacement of the transmission.
Below are some pictures of the Visit of
the brethren from Indiana and update on the building etc
May the Lord God Almighty continues to
bless you all, co-workers in ministry.
