Dearly Beloved;

Let us rejoice and sing praises, said the Psalmist “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord all ye lands” Ps.100:1.

Seasons' greetings to all of you in our great God and Redeemer Jesus Christ's Name. As believers we must continuously praise and thank God for the glories of our Lord Jesus Christ. There is no greater praise that we can offer than the thanksgiving that Christ has come to save us from our sin and given us a new life. As A writer put it, 'O glorious birth! O glorious life and death! O could  I praise the Lamb with every breath, and feel Him  dwell  within!'

Shipment Arrived

The shipment arrived in Ghana on the 14th of November and we cleared it from the port on the 18th.

Everything came through safe except some office items that were missing.

We thank all those who gave materials, funds and service. God bless you all.

Abandon Baby Boy

On the 19th of November, a day after the arrival of the shipment, we woke up to a terrifying shock - a newly born baby boy was left in front of our home, wrapped in cloths with ants all over his body.

We brought him home, cleaned him, then went to the local Police and then to the University Hospital near us. I asked my wife and a lady near our house to take care of the baby at the Hospital and then bring him home when the Hospital finished checking him because the 19th is the Lord’s day and I must get back to the church.

When the Doctor finished checking the baby he told the ladies that we cannot have the baby because the Law says so. He directed the ladies to take the baby to the government Orphanage. My wife told the doctor that we have an Orphanage and that we can take care of the baby but he said no.

In short, the Law of the Land says we cannot have the abandoned baby. We cannot even follow up on him. Pray for this baby. I called him Elisha Quarshie. The Lord knows where he is.

Be in prayer also for the 21 children at the House of Hope Orphanage. We need sponsors for them for their upkeep. $1 per day will take care of their feeding.

Dedication of another Baby Boy

On the 3rd of December we dedicated another baby boy in our morning service. Noble Ampauw is the son of one of our members, Daniel Ampauw. We praise the Lord for his numerous gifts.

Baptism

On the 10th of December we rejoiced with a sister who followed the Lord in baptism.

We will also be traveling to Northern Ghana on the 24th of January to baptize at least 25 new believers. It costs to travel in order to minister in northern Ghana, so your donations are needed as we harvest souls for our Lord. This is a new work in an area where most of the people are blind.

Lack of vitamin A and poor drinking water is the cause of this problem of blindness.

Moringa tree

We found out that if we can give the people in the northern part of Ghana the Moringa Leaves Powder and a well, most of their physical problems will be solved.

Moringa Leaves and flowers can also help people with Diabetes and Blood Pressure.

We need brethren to help us plant the Moringa trees on a mass scale. This means funds.

We are already producing the Moringa Powder and Tea. Let us know if you want us to send some over to you. It costs $50 to ship one pound (1LB) by air.

We will need a minimum of $5000 to cultivate ten acres (10) and $10,000 for twenty acres (20).

You will be helping to save many lives by donating to help in this cause.

Moringa is the answer to many of humanity's health problems. We can serve the lord better with a healthy body. You can check the web sites for information on the 'Moringa Tree.'

brethren are blind.

School and Building project

The High School admission is still low because there was a problem with striking Teachers in the Education sector from September to Novenber. This affected our admission since the Government school admission usually ends before students come to us. We hope this will change in the near future. We are expecting more students come January 2007.

We are also taking a new course in our educational goals - to reach out to Adult illiterates. We will be training them in the area of English as a second Language. This will start on January 15th, 2007.

We still need your donation to complete the first floor of the new building. 50 bags of cement for plastering work on the back, $500, nine toilet sets $2250, Septic Tank and overhead water tank, $1000. Sand and labor $1250. Total $5000 If ten churches can donate $500 each or 50 brethren donate $100 each, this first phase of the building will be complete and we will dedicate it for the glory of the Lord. Please - will you consider a Christmas gift to help with this project?

We appreciate all those who have given a donation towards this project. Jesus will surly repay.

Our annual Pastoral New Year school will come on in February next Year.

The Quarshie Family

Adelaide is doing much better this days with her blood pressure. Thank the Lord for Moringa, the miracle tree.

Enoch is enjoying the computer school he is attending.

Deborah is coming home and will be returning to school in the summer of 2007 - be praying for her.

Prayer Requests

1. Continued health and strength for Noah and Adelaide. Wisdom and financial support for the work. God’s continued grace and blessing in their lives.

2. School plans include two more floors to be built on top of the one that is almost finished. $5000 is needed to finish the first floor. A school complex from preschool through high school and a seminary is our goal for this ministry.

3. Growth for the believers who have been baptized. Hunger for the Word. Desire to learn the “hidden mysteries” through the Holy Spirit’s teaching.

4. Funds to re-roof the Namu church.

5. Funds for the Bible Baptist Church in Accra to re-roof the church.

6. Plans for North Ghana for the one square mile given to the mission for the development of a church, infirmary and library (This land is great for Moringa and Shea project).  The local folks will construct the buildings and the Mission will be responsible to roof them.  Pray for a Nurse or Physician’s Assistant type person. For the Clinic. Pray for the Chief and His under chiefs and elders.

In His Grace for His Glory,
Noah Quarshie & Family.
