Dearly Beloved;
We praise the Lord for ushering us into the
year 2007. We know the Lord will continue to teach us
to number our days in his service, to apply our heart to WISDOM.
(Ps.90)
Coral Concert and Watch night Service.
The Bible Baptist Church Choir was joined
by the Berean Baptist Choir and the landmark Baptist Choir to
give us a splendid performance of various local and historical
hymns, and some selections of Handel’s Messiah on the 30th of
December. It was one of the best performances of our youth, for
which we give all the glory to our Lord. This was followed by
the watch-night service on the 31st of January.
It was a real time of blessing, pointing to good things to come.
Visit to the House of Hope Orphanage.
We paid a visit to the House of Hope Orphanage
at the end of the year with Sister Beth from the USA, the brain
behind the Orphanage.
The 21 children in the home are doing very
well. Sister Lizzy is a real blessing from the Lord to the Children.
She needs our prayers daily. We are also praying for the Lord
to bring a dedicated Christian worker to help with the spiritual
leadership in the home and a church in the area to reach the
community of Kledjo/Hohoe.
BIPS & BIPS SEC/TECH & The
building Project.
School re-opened on the 9th of January. Our
intake is still low but we are working and trusting the Lord
to bring in the students.
We are also taking a new course in our educational
goals, to reach out to the Adult illiterates. We will be training
them in the area of English as a second Language. We were not
able to start in January but we are planning to start it in
March 2007. We will need short term Mission Volunteers in this
area.
We still need your donation to complete the
first floor of the new building. 50 bags of cement for plastering
work on the back - $500, nine toilet sets - $2250, Septic Tank
and overhead water tank - $1000, Sand and labor - $1250.
The total - $5000. If ten churches can donate $500 each or 50
brethren donate $100 each, this first phase of the building
will be complete and we will dedicate it for the glory of the
Lord. Please, will you consider a special donation to help us?
Donation.
The month of January is the beginning of
the dry season with its attended problems. Some houses were
destroyed by fire in the first week of January, so on January
12th we donated 20 bales of used clothing to the National Disaster
Management Organization.
Please see the news clipping below:

Trip to Northern Ghana.
We had to postpone our plan of traveling
to Northern Ghana to baptize the 25 new believers due to lack
of funds. We trust the Lord to provide the funds to be able
to travel to the North soon. It costs to travel to minister
in northern Ghana, so your donations are needed as we harvest
souls for our Lord.
Moringa Tree.
The news about the nutritional and health
value of the Moringa plant is spreading like a wild fire in
Ghana. The News Media is joining in the crusade.
Moringa Leaves and flowers can also help
people with Diabetes and Blood Pressure, Eye problems, HIV Aids,
cancer, stroke - you name it.
I could not believe this plant has been in
our house since 1989.
We need brethren to help us plant the Moringa
trees on a mass scale. This means funds.
We are already producing the Moringa Powder
and Tea. Let us know if you want us to send some over to you.
It costs $50 to ship one pound 1LB by air.
We will need a minimum of $5000 to cultivate
ten acres (10) and $10,000 for twenty acres (20) The rains will
soon start so we need help to start preparing the Land for planting.
I have the seed to plant over ten acres. You will be helping
to save many lives by donating to help in this cause.
Moringa is the answer to many of humanity's
health problems. I repeat; we can serve the Lord better with
a healthy body. You can check the following web site for information
on the Moringa Tree:

Wedding Bells.
On the 3rd of February our church Organist/Choir
Director wedded one of the young ladies in our church. The wedding
took place at one of the Halls of the University of Ghana. I
was assisted by one of the Fellowship Of Churches Pastor's.
It was a true celebration of Christian love.
The Quarshie Family.
Adelaide is doing much better these days
with her blood pressure and health in general. Praise the Lord
for Moringa, the miracle tree.
Enoch is enjoying the computer school he
is attending.
Deborah came home in January and will be
returning to school in the summer of 2007 - be praying for her.

ABOVE: Update on the school building. This
is
half of the building. The back half needs plastering

1. Continued health and strength for Noah
and Adelaide. Wisdom and financial support for the work. God’s
continued grace and blessing in their lives.
2. School plans include two more floors to
be built on top of the one that is almost finished. $5000 is
needed to finish the first floor. A school complex from preschool
through high school and a seminary is our goal for this ministry.
3. Donations for the ministry here have been
a bit low since December 2006 - pray with us for more regular
donors.
4. Growth for the believers who have
been baptized. Hunger for the Word. Desire to learn the “hidden
mysteries” through the Holy Spirit’s teaching.
5. Funds for the Bible Baptist Church in
Accra to re-roof the church.
6. Plans for North Ghana for the one square
mile given to the mission for the development of a church, infirmary
and library (This land is great for Moringa and Shea project).
The local folks will construct the buildings and the Mission
will be responsible to roof them. Pray for a Nurse or
Physician’s Assistant type person. For the Clinic. Pray for
the Chief and His under chiefs and elders.
In His Grace for
His Glory,
Noah Quarshie & Family.
