Dearly Beloved;

The Psalmist said, "O Give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so" Ps.107:1-2A.

We have started to started to see some great things that the Lord is going to do this year.

Easter 2008 and Baptism

This Easter we had our regular service with the exception that the Sunday School kids gave us a special drama of the cruxifiction and resurrection of our Lord. The service was followed by a fellowship dinner and a baptizimal service - to God be the glory.

Mission Team From the US

Dr. Gainer led his Annual Mission Team of 17 this year. They arrived in the country on the 26th of March. After visiting some of the historic sites in the country they ministered to our people for two days.

On Friday the 28th  we recorded two messages each by Dr. Lavender  and Dr. McFarland from Grace Baptist Church, Kansas City, Mo, and Calvary Evangelical Baptist Church, Portmouth, Va. respectively. Dr. Gainer, the pastors and some of the leaders were also interviewed by a young radio presenter for our radio listeners. This was followed by a fellowship dinner organized by the ladies of Bible Baptist Church.

On the 29th. we organized a Family Seminar Some of the topics were, "The Church and it's pastor," by Dr. Lavender,  "Making Biblical Choices," by Dr. McFarland, and "Husband and wife Relations" by Rev Williams.

The seminar was followed by a Medical screening for the brethren and neighbours. Over 100 people were checked within one hour. The emphasis was on Blood Pressure and Diabetes. Most of the people had Blood Pressure problems.

Most of them did not know they had blood pressure problems including our Driver whose pressure was more than 180. Praise the Lord for Moringa. Within two days our driver's pressure was within 140. Some of our neighbours who had higher pressure came for the Moringa Powder and within three days their pressure was normal. We thank the Mission Team for coming to minster to our people and helping both spiritually and physically. Our people were really blessed.

Brethren you do not know what this visit mean to our people.

Radio Ministry

We do have a GREAT GOD OF WONDERS. Our  weekly Radio programme is graduating to a full Radio Station. I know some of you are praying with us and you are donating for this noble cause  The young brother at the Radio station which airs our weekly programme built a  500 Watt Transmitter  for us which was tested from April 30th to May 8th.

I cannot explain the exitement  in  our  neighbourhood. Personally it was like a DREAM to me.  Will  you pray with us and for the funds we need for the antannea and the final payment for the license.

The proposed name is "GLORY  FM 107.7." Please, if you can help us with the $1500 to complete the payment for the license and the antannea we can be on air by June 30th or early July. Most of our Radio stations are political and the music is all worldly. Can you imagine the blessing it will be forthe over 4 million people in Accra? Our God is able.

Our Schools

Please be in prayer for the High School, due to the economic situation in the counrty the students are not able to pay their fees and some have stopped coming because they cannot pay their fees.

BIPS

The pastoral students are all trying but they are also facing transportation difficulties. Personally I had to cut back my movement because of the fuel price hike. We know you are also facing the same problem but ours is getting out of hand. A gallon of gas is heading to $7. Food prices and services have all gone up.

Trip to Northern Ghana

The rains have started  so we are planning to go and visit our brethren in Northern Ghana at the end of this month. Pray with us.

Moringa Project

The World Health Organization has just released a report that said Malaria kills more than one million people per year and that children are the major victims. Malaria kills five people daily.

Brethern, the Moringa we are preparing can take care of most of the children who are our future leaders if the Lord should tarry.

God has given us this plant  to help us fight many diseases and many are testifying of what Moringa is doing in their lives. A young lady with breast cancer is now recovering, people with  Low  &  High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Arthritis, Ulcers, Malaria, Fever, Inflamations, etc, are doing much better. One of the brethren here calls Moringa a "Champion Food Supplement", because it has all the vitamins and  amino Acids  that the human body needs.

Will you help us to plant more of the Moringa Trees? We also need to drill a well to water the plants. $4000 will give us a well. Keep on praying and give what you can.
